Know what actually
created demand.
Your CRM tells you where a lead converted. First Signals reveals what convinced them to buy.
95.3%
of classified contacts in this example surfaced a channel absent from the CRM source field.
Your CRM sees the search.
Your customer remembers the reason.
The last click can be correct and still miss earlier influences. Asking directly adds customer-reported evidence to the journey.
Five example influences. One simplified conversion label. The comparison shows why the two sources should be reviewed together.
The conversion source is only the end of the story.
Customer language reveals the beginning.
Turn a customer's words into a demand signal
Try a real answer. The demo separates the source that created demand from the channel your CRM would record at conversion.
Write how a real customer described finding you, then press Analyse.
A simplified in-browser demo. The live product classifies every answer against your own channels and entities, then reconciles it with your CRM.
Turn customer language into budget evidence
See which channels create demand, which only capture it, and where your CRM disagrees with the people who actually bought.

Three steps to your first answer
Connect the CRM data you already have, ask one open-ended question, and let First Signals reconcile the two.
Connect HubSpot
Authorise the integration and First Signals pulls in your contacts, deals and the attribution your CRM already recorded — without a custom engineering integration.
Ask one question
"How did you first hear about us?" One open-ended field on your forms. Customers answer in their own words, the way they would tell a colleague.
See what created demand
Every answer is classified and compared with what your CRM recorded. Where the two disagree, your team gets a clear hypothesis to investigate.

The channels click reports miss
One dataset. A very different answer.
of classified contacts in the example named a channel the CRM source field had not recorded.
The highest-volume demand source was absent from the CRM's recorded source fields.
This worked example shows how customer-reported sources can be compared with conversion fields such as paid search and direct traffic. Your result will depend on your own data.

Questions
No. First Signals complements your existing attribution stack. Traditional tools like HubSpot, GA4, and multi-touch models are great at tracking digital touchpoints. First Signals fills the gap they miss — the offline, word-of-mouth, and dark-funnel channels that don't generate clicks but do generate pipeline. Think of it as the missing layer that explains why people search for your brand in the first place.
No. First Signals works with HubSpot Professional and Enterprise. We integrate via the HubSpot API to pull contact and deal data, so there are no additional HubSpot add-ons or upgrades required. If you're on HubSpot Starter or using another CRM, get in touch — we're expanding integrations based on demand.
A signal is any response to your "How did you hear about us?" question — whether it comes from a form submission, a survey, or a manual entry. Each response is processed by our AI to extract one or more attributions. For example, "I heard your CEO on a podcast and then saw a LinkedIn post" counts as one signal but produces two classified attributions.
Barely. You just need to add a single open-ended field — "How did you hear about us?" — to your lead capture forms. That's it. No JavaScript snippets, no tracking pixels, no complex integrations. If you already have this question on your forms, you can connect First Signals to your CRM and start classifying historical responses immediately.
Classification quality depends on the detail and context in each response. First Signals assigns confidence scores and routes uncertain results to a review queue, so your team can validate the channel and entity before using the result in reporting.
Book a demo and we will walk through First Signals with your live use case. If it is a fit, we will create your workspace, connect HubSpot, and add your self-reported attribution question together during onboarding.
