Description of service

First Signals is a demand intelligence and attribution platform for B2B marketing teams. The service includes: self-reported attribution capture, AI-powered classification of attribution responses, analytics dashboards, CRM data import, and related features.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for the accuracy of the data you import into First Signals.

Acceptable use

You may use First Signals only for lawful business purposes. You may not: reverse-engineer the service, attempt to access other users' data, use the service to transmit malware, or resell access without our written permission.

You must comply with all applicable data protection laws when importing and processing personal data through First Signals.

Data ownership

You retain ownership of all data you import into or generate through First Signals. We do not claim ownership of your data.

You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service — including AI classification of attribution responses. This licence terminates when you delete your data or close your account.

AI classification

First Signals uses third-party AI services to classify attribution text. While we strive for high accuracy, AI classification is probabilistic and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving classifications before making business decisions based on them.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated classifications.

Fees and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

If payment fails, we may suspend access to the service until the outstanding balance is resolved.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may cancel your account through the platform settings or by contacting us.

Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless required to retain it for legal purposes. You may request an export of your data before termination.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, First Signals and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First Signals and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of First Signals after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
